Dr. Mathias Martinez Coronel
Dr. Martinez is an accomplished general dentist with over 20 years of international clinical and teaching experience.
He completed a Fellowship and Postdoctoral Dental Education and Residency Training Program at the University of Rochester, New York, where he also worked as a teacher assistant in oral surgery for AEGD and GPR residencies.
Dr. Martinez is National Dental Board Certified, member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (Seventh District), Florida Dental Association (FDA) and Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS),
Prior to relocating to the U.S.A. He worked as a Associate Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hamad Medical Corporation (Qatar-Middle East) and as an Associated Professor at Universidad de Carabobo (Valencia - Venezuela) for more than 10 years.
He completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at UNAM in Mexico International training; (not an ADA-accredited specialty program), serving as Chief Resident, completed a Senior oral surgery rotation at NYU–Bellevue Hospital (New York City), and obtained his DDS Magna Cum Laude from Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela.
